Zero is honored to have been awarded a $65,000 grant from MassVentures and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center as part of its Catalyst program for our proposal titled “New Paradigm for Residential Building Retrofits: Towards Accelerated Decarbonization”. Zero was chosen among a host of Massachusetts-based climate tech companies to develop and demonstrate a prototype of its platform that can produce actionable renovation designs that will enable homeowners to quickly plan electrification projects for their homes. Zero’s design solution promises to eliminate the need for homeowners to coordinate home visits with contractors. Instead, Zero will enable homeowners to create cost-efficient plans through an automated process that can reduce the assessment, scoping, and quoting portion of these projects to just a few minutes. The Catalyst grant will help Zero develop its design solution and bring it to homeowners in Massachusetts.
“Our team is deeply honored to receive this vote of confidence from MassCEC and deepen our relationship beyond the Decarbonization Pathways Pilot we’ve been collaborating on for the past several months,” said Grant Gunnison, Founder & CEO of Zero. “We’re excited to get to work and leverage these funds to accelerate and simplify electrification deployments across the state.“
